Surgical procedures on the external nose are among the most technically and artistically demanding operations in facial surgery. They require not only experience, but also a precise understanding of proportions, tissue behavior, and individual anatomy.

Dr. Jacob Brügel is a board-certified specialist in otorhinolaryngology with a clear focus on aesthetic nasal surgery.

1. Aesthetic Rhinoplasty

Aesthetic rhinoplasty reshapes the external nose through plastic surgery aiming for a natural-looking result that harmonises with the face. In most cases, nasal breathing is also improved.

2. Revison Rhinoplasty

Revision rhinoplasty addresses aesthetic and functional issues after one or more previous nasal surgeries. Due to scarring, tissue loss, and weakened structures, it ranks among the most complex procedures in nasal surgery – and should be performed only by experienced specialists.

3. Modern Techniques

Advanced methods such as ultrasonic piezosurgery and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) allow for highly precise and tissue-preserving nasal surgery. Controlled, millimetre-accurate cuts significantly reduce the risk of uncontrolled fractures. At the same time, surrounding tissues, vessels and mucosa are preserved, resulting in less postoperative pain, faster healing and more predictable aesthetic outcomes.
